SynCare Names Gloria Payne Vice President -
Medical Management

INDIANAPOLIS, IN – SynCare, LLC, continues to tap industry experts in building its executive team with the appointment of Gloria Payne, as Vice President of Medical Management. In this role, she will oversee the planning and direction of the quality management services, departments, and programs at SynCare.

In her new position, Payne will be responsible for organizing, directing, managing and coordinating various departments, programs and services related to managing resources, assuring quality services, and managing cases. In addition, she will be involved in corporate strategy and planning and execution. As the primary contact for state regulators, Payne will ensure compliance and act as the liaison with the Professional Review Organization (PRO) in the review and recommendation of contracts with managed care organizations.

Payne will also take a leadership role in the design and implementation of evaluations related to resource and quality management. As a directive, Payne will be responsible for oversight into research methods and improved patient care through the utilization of SynCare resources.

Prior to her appointment, Payne served as an industry consultant with expertise in disease management and population management with special emphasis in telecommunications, strategic planning, sales support, and operations. Payne also held senior positions at McKesson (Director, Clinical Business Analysis), Landacorp, Inc (Director - Member Services, Program Director – Population Health Management Programs), and Matria Healthcare, Inc (Program Manager).
