It has benefited our patients in that we have had several patients call because when they have spoken to one of the case managers (RN) they have encouraged the patients to contact the clinic for further assessment. Without the support and education of the nurses, the patients might not have otherwise notified us and
problems/concerns would have gone unaddressed. Most of the time, the patients were scheduled at TCHC for further assessment.
